We just got a couple of the Nexus 7010 platforms in our lab to test out.. I must say I'm really liking them. NX-OS is new (well the IOS piece is) and surprisingly works! I've been testing many of the features on the box and all are working better then expected. The sweetest feature that the box...
Question for anyone who can answer this..
Using LLQ (priority command) under a MQC policy provides policing when there is congestion.
My question is, how is congestion determined? What commands are used to show congestion? I've looked and looked on Cisco's website to get a clear definition...
Has anyone run into this issue yet?
I want to remove an access-list totally, before pix 7 you coul do 'no access-list (acl name)' and that would wipe it totally..
Now with PIX 7, that doesn't work. It seems you have to clear each line out.. Now imagine if you had a 25000 line ACL, what a...
Can anyone help me with this..
I want to take a spreadsheet and pull certain data from cells and have them exported into a txt file or something in that nature..

Has anyone come across 'certified documentation' of what the cisco ip 79xx handsets support via IGMP??
from what i can tell they only support IGMPv1, which had some serious downfalls due to the fact that it can't do IGMP leaves. Therefore any multicast group will take 3 minutes to timeout...
I have 2 columns, column A and column B.
Column A is a manufacturer part#
Column B is a description of that part#
I have this below that works fine, but I need it to either delete the full row instead of the cell in colum A, or to like lock the information in column B to column A.
Can anyone...

Well some news for you all, if you work for an AVAYA business partner, you should be a little bit scared right now. I work for Exp@nets and AVAYA has just purchased us. We were AVAYA's largest business partner, now we're owned by them. I'm rather stressed myself. I don't know what their plans...

Has anyone here got a workaround for RAS Access on teh S8700 media servers. When you dial into the servers, you only get the active server. Due to AVAYA not having the "ip routing" feature turned on in the kernel, you can't setup different RAS IP addresses or anything on the 2nd...

For all of you fellow pix users that have people that need to VPN out using PPTP and PAT, it is now support in pix 6.3.
You need to permit GRE inbound and then also do this simple command "fixup protocol pptp 1723"

Does anyone know how to properly set the IP Office DSCP settings. I'm doing what I think is right, but it is not classifing packets correctly, so therefor my router is not recognizing them right.. I know this because I have put a network sniffer on it, and the dscp tag is coming up as unknown...
Okay, here's a weird one (least I think so)
When I do a FAC code to do call forwarding to a remote station on the DCS network, it picks up that trunk group for the group to get to that station..
For example, the station I want to forward to is 3222
so I do a #2223222, and by doing a list...
I'm new to the features of DCS, but aren't you able to just do a callforward to remote phones on another switch in a DCS network?
I'm assuming you would just do a coverage path to the remote station, but it doesn't seem to want to let me do that..
Am I missing something?
