Odd. I open up the ICA client and add the server location parameter then click the drop down list and the farm name comes up ok. I then try to connect to the server but after ages it comes back saying 'not available' even though it is pingable. Any ideas?

We run roaming profiles for our 26 W2kSP2 MFXPeFR1 servers under Active Directory but use local Group Policies. Everything works fine for Group Policy settings for roaming profiles but something is causing duplicates of the NTUSER.dat file to be created as a prf#.tmp file and left in the root of...

Hello,
Ever since we installed FR2 hyperlinks don't automatically open IE from Outlook- to get around this we have renamed ServerFTA.exe to ServerFTA1.exer and copied IE and renamed it to ServerFTA.exe. It comes up with a message about compatibility but is benign.

Hi-
Does anyone know of cool scripts we can use to lock down a server so that we can release the desktop to the users?
By script I mean- permissions, shortcuts, applications etc. We are using a GPO but it's not enough.
Thanks for help.
