    Calculate Block Check Character

    Is there a function, or an undestandable formula, that will calculate the BCC (Block Check Character)of a data string? The string typically looks like <STX> .... 54 to 57 Characters.... <ETX>. The Bcc needs to be calculated on characters starting with the first character after the stx to the end...

    Console ring cadence

    The console signals an incoming call by a single continous tone. Is there an option to change it to a standard 1sec on 3sec off cadence. This is on an Opt51. Thanks in advance.

    Installed the MOH. It works when outbound calls are put on hold, but does not work with incoming calls. What have I missed?

    PMS Interface

    Company recently purchased a hotel that has an OPT 51C with Mer Mail. The problem is that the interface to the property management system doesn't work. Chased the cable back to the opt 51 and it is plugged into a serial port. I can't find it programmed anywhere. None of the tty ports are labeled...
