Can anyone tell me what range of udp ports should be open for any given network-region. I do not want to open too many UDP ports and if I choose a 100 can it be any range?
Thanks
Has anyone seen an issue where thousands of packets per sec are attempted to be exchanged between an IP phone and CLAN over a VPN. VPN dropped out and firewall blocked ports devices thought they had connections on. This caused some major issues and I havent come across it before. I understand...
If a split is used without a vector but with measurements switched to external(cms) do I route calls just to the hunt group/splt extension?. Will this just do the same as routing via a vector(ie queue to xx) but without there being a queue? How would the stats work in this instance? There...
We are using a Nice Matrix Logger to logs calls over a number of E1 circuits. We now want to record some internal calls as well. To do this we route calls over tie trunks via the matrix logger and back to the switch. The tie trunks and call transfers work ok but I'm not sure if its possible...
I'm using a NICE matrix logger trunk side and need to record some internal calls. The only way I can think of making this possible is by routing the internal calls out through one DS1 which is connected to the matrix logger and then back into another DS1. I think it will be a tie trunk set up...
Is it possible to remove the facility to Log off an extension form a 4620 IP phone? Phone users are pressing the Options button and logging the phone off and I'd liek to stop them from doing this.
Thanks
Can anyone assist with Direct agent coverage. I have set up a trunk group, vdns, skill and agents with a COR that has direct agent optioned. When a call is made via the VDN to a direct agent(caller enters digits of agents extension) the call arrives at the phone where the agent is logged on but...
I noticed there is a system wide setting in sys feature for trunk to trunk transfers (ALL,NONE, ore RESTRICTED). I would like to find out out exactly how this works with the COS option trunk to trunk transfer override. If anyone has a good explanation then it would be appreciated.
I'm setting up direct agents. I'm using a route-to command to direct a call to an agent. However all works well when in Auto-in but when the agent is in AUX the only visible indicator that a call is waiting is that the AUX button flashes. The caller then hears the DA announcement and music...
I need to patch a telco cable into a 24 port digital patch panel. Does anyone have a breakdown of which wires in a 25 pair telco cable are connected to each port of a 24 digital patch panel. I know they are all colour coded but I cant find a list anywhere. Cheers
I have set up up split9as EAS is not available) but calls do not arrive a the Group member extensions. ACD,QUEUE,VECTOR is all set to Y. The vector is set up queue calls to this split so I cant see where this is failing. At the moment calls stay in queue all the time.
Can someone help me on Direct Agent. I haven't used this before and would like to know what happens when a skill is entered in the field "Direct Agent Skill" on the agent form. We have a VDN that routes calls to a skill but callers can call back on the smae line and have the opportunity to call...
I have a direct connection to Audix V4.0(tn566) on Port A(sat terminal) and I have a remote connection on the AUX port but I would like to access the Audix via DSA internally. Is it possible to use Port B for this and if so how can it be done?
Thx
I'm setting up an ISDN fax by using a DAT module. If I attach an ISDN phone I can call the phone and make calls but if I hook it up to an ISDN fax machine I can not get it to work. I'm not sure if any settings need to be changed for such a device. Does someone know what may be wrong in these...
If a call is queued to two skills will call history statistics appear for both skills or just for the one it was answered in. If the caller abandoned does this show up in both split reports? We want to provide better service for the customer but we also have to be careful with the statistics...
Some calls outbound through our BRI trunk are slipping through to the attendant. This happens when the fax users who dial out through the BRI trunk forget to enter the ARS code 0 before the fax number. The switch thinks its internal number but often the number does not exist and it is routing...
