    Help please! Can someone explain to me the difference between admin (C$)share and just plain sharing (C)of drive or folder? Can a admin connect to a remote drive, even if the drive is not shared? What ever the rulesare, do they apply to domain and/or workgroup? Solarys

    winxp pro issues

    Yes issues. I have two WinXP Pro PCs networked together in a workgroup environment. BoxA can see and access shares on BoxB via My Network Places. BoxA can only see BoxB when "View Workgroup Computers" is opened. I can ping both ways. I can see IM user from BoxB while on BoxA...
