This really irks me. Maybe you can tell me how to change this:
If I have a browse window open, click into the Command window and type "disp stat" and press any key enough times to page through all the status lines, the cursor land in the browse window - not the command window from whence it...
My grid's dblclick event is working fine. It returns the recno() of the current row and then set's it's own visiblity to .f.. The grid disappears.
I want the Enter key to do exactly what the dblclick code does so I put this in the Keypress event of the grid
If nKeyCode = 13

Working at a new company. Was given a desktop for development purposes. Installed VFP 9.0 SP1 on it. Started creating an application.
Unbeknownst to me, another FoxPro app had been installed on this machine before I got it. This app had created it's own config.fpw file on the local drive. That...
I've been learning about grids. They are nifty. I have an app where the users are entering as much or as little of a person's first name, last name, dob, etc and my app should search for all close matches and display them in a grid-like arrangment. For small tables a grid populated from an SQL...

The Win2K System Event viewer says:

Client is a Notes/Domino shop. They want a PM app and are looking at MS Project 2003 Server, but notice that much of the P2003 functionality seems to be a duplictre for what they already own in Notes/Domino: DB server (SQL), email server, web server, blah, blah.
Can anyone recommend a decent PM...
Client is a Domino house. Use Domino/Notes for email, web server, etc.
Client wants P2003 Server. Reasons cited are:
-they assume it's the industry standard
-they want to share project info with partners and clients (in what way I'm not sure)
-they want to be able to have non-CAL users be able...
I removed my (working) hard drive in my ThinkPad A22m in order to use the "chassis" to build up a new hard drive for one of my users. The user has an almost identical ThinkPad model. I used IBM's product recovery CD's and was successful in building the new drive. I shipped the new HDD off tho...
ThinkPad A22m 2628-T1U. IBM says replace system board when can't get past POST splash screen.

I want to make one of our W2K Netfinity 4500R's a backup server. Want to join the 21st century and kick the tape habit and backup to disks. My current removeable HDD product of choice requires USB 2.0 for the interface. I assume that the USB as it comes on the 4500R is the old 1.0 as I can find...
Anyone using removeable ultra 320 scsi hard drives for backup? Looking at relative speeds, it appears to me that ultr320 scsi would be THE way to go (over firewire or USB). Don't know if they make such an animal appropriate for backup or not.... still searching web.
Looking to replace our...
IBM Netfinity 4500R.
ServeRaid card 4M.
ibm.com says the card is compatible with the server. But when I ut it in, seems like it's just a wee bit too tall and when the top cover is replaced I fear that it's pushing down on the card and system board.
Anyone have any thoughts?
