Is there such a thing as a ready-made filter for printing landscape that can be used? We're running on Solaris 2.6 version. I'd try to find the file myself, but, my access to the system had expired.
I know you can use lp -ylandscape, and would print the file in landscape fashion.
Thanks in...
I've decided to create a new print port with its own printer interface program. I copied the netstandard file, for this is a network printer. Does changing the following make this printer always print landscape:
CPI=12i
LPI=8i
or
width=11i
length=8i
Thanks!
Ann
Without too much help from the docs.sun.com, and some search within this site, and some others, I'm still puzzled on how to send a document to print on two sides (duplex printing). Any clues? Does LP foot the bill with the -y parameter (mode) (like -y duplex)?
Thanks, all! :-)
Ann
I've been tasked to write something to direct a Xerox printer to orient itself to landscape, when a particular server, which I got the IP address, requests to print to it. Is it best written in Perl or Unix shell? We're on Solaris 2.6.
