2GB limitation on cpio -p
Need to backup file larger than 2GB (in real-time situation) to Windows and need to use cpio to collect and write those recently updated files. -
Dormant user accounts
Running AIX 5.1 on 6C3 and need to find and identify all dormant user accounts (logins). Does anyone know of a way to use usrck, pwdck, or another utility to accomplish this? [blush] -
System does not see new TLZ10-DB tape device
Have DEC Alpha 2000 5/300 running DEC/Osf1 Version 4.0d. I have added a KZPBA-CA scsi interface card (PCI slot) and attached the TLZ10-DB DDS3 tape drive. The system does not see the new devices. Need to read packed files on 98
I need to know what command(s) to use to read packed data within Win98. I have an Access database where the data files are packed and I'm having difficulties with it. I feel I need to read some of those packed files to detect where the problem might be. Any help is appreciated.- drmanager

Need print of hardware config of Alpha -
I need to know the command line option (and flags) for creating a print of the current hardware configuration which would include disk and tape drive info as well as adapters installed on the system. Is there something as simple as AIX's lscfg?- drmanager

Network printing to Xerox DC230ST
Has anyone successfully set up network printing to a Xerox printer? Printer is on the company's tcp/ip network and is reachable (via ping) from my H70 running 4.3.3 of AIX, but I cannot find the proper combination of spooler settings to have a job actually print. Spooler sends it to the queue...
