I currently have a single A.D. over two sites ( two offices ). These offices will very soon no longer need to be connected.
So the question is - can i split the two offices and DCpromo a server at each site and have each site with the same domain but running completely separately.

Whwne i Run task manager i cannot see the tabs for memory and CPU usage
Its only 1 window, with the running programmes.
On the taskbar I can see a graph of CPU usage and i have to rightclick on that to close task manager down.

Have an Exchange 5.5 server on a W2K domain controller.
think its set up right BUT when i try to connect to http:\\servername\exchange I get a 500 Internal Server Error.
However when i connect to http:\\servername\USA\logon.asp it gives me the logon page.
USA is the directory that is webshared...

Currently running Mandrake 8.2
the workstation works no problem for a couple of days then when i try to ssh from a network pc or logon to the console after putting in my password the connection freezes.
only a hard reboot fixes this

Ok - Mandrake server has crashed and wont reboot, comes up with a kernel panic error when it tries to mount the file systems.
Ive been told that if I have a recovery disc i can boot to that and then do a fsck.
How do i create a recovery disc ??
Ive just installed Mandrake and am seeing alot of http / smtp traffic dropped on my firewall from the Mandrake server to 192.168.0.x addresses.
We dont have a 192.168.0 network though.
Anyone know what service is running this ??
Does anyone have a step by step for moving the IMC / IMS from an old Exchange 5.5 to a new 5.5 server. Both are in the same site etc and we will use NAT on the firewall to handle the smtp routing.

I have a single BT phone number with 3 lines on it. Connected to 3 modems on a W2K server running RRAS.
The problem is that 9 times out of ten the first dial up get on no problem but as soon as the second client tries to connect the first line is dropped.
