Compaq Gigabit NIC cards
If you are using this type of NIC card with driver v3.63 and are experiencing backup problems, you may want to consider download and installing the latest drivers. Irix 6.5.12 and DLT8000 setup?
I am trying to install a dlt8000 on a inix 6.5.12 system. Is there anything special I should watch out for? I know that the file /usr/var/sysgen/master.d/scsi configures the ts driver handle the dlt8000, but is there something else? I also been reading that people have been disabling the ts...- wallace88

Irix 6.5.12 and DLT8000
Has anyone had a problem labeling tapes on a dlt8000 on an SGI Irix o/s? I've heard one issue where if you label one tape, it works. Then if you try to label a second time, it hangs. Other than the labeling problem, NetWorker seems to work ok. Anyone else experience this?- wallace88
