    Why does a Avaya 5410 phone work on an Office IP / Small business edition, but an Avaya 5420 won't

    I have two of these phones that both will not working when plugged into the Small Office Edition Office IP unit (software 4.2). Could the 5420 not be compatible to the Small Office Edition unit?

    Waiting-for-line after dialing error

    I have an older "Small Office Edition" unit and Avaya 5410 phones. I've acquired this phone system and after connecting only one phone I get the "waiting for line" in the window of the phone. I have only one analog phone line connected to the analog in on the front of the unit at this time...
