I recently switched out a malfunctioning phone on ext. 701 and made sure the SET RELOCATION was on NO so the phone would have the same settings.
Everything works fine, people call ext. 701 and it rings. The only problem is at no answer the VM goes to GENERAL MAILBOX instead of to 701's MAILBOX...
My supervisor's handset is crapping out and all our spare phones have extensions pre-programmed. She is (and wants to stay) extension 701. How do change spare handset (ext. 720) to become extension 701?
I tried Sys Admin > Sys Programming > Change DN > old 720 > new 701. It didn't work...
