    Proliant 3000 with Smart2SL - add video card problem

    If I disable the onboard video and try to add a pci video card, it doesn't matter what slot I put it in, it disables the Smart2SL RAID controller - never even shows the SCSI BIOS on power on boot - and therefore, no drives. Any ideas what's going on here?

    E3855 trying to backup to HP12000e DAT

    With ArcServe 2K, v7, I can format, retension, clean, but when I try to back up I get the E3855 error (unable to position media). Adaptec AHA2940W, WinXP Pro. I tried the SP4 update, then the engine update, no help. Is there a fix for this? This drive worked fine 3 months ago. Mike

    ArcServe 2K v7 & WinXP Pro - will it work?

    I have an HP SureStore 12000e tape changer hooked to an Adaptec AHA-2940W SCSI controller. I have been unable to get ArcServe 2K to backup or controll the devices - when I go into device manager, and click on the aic78xx controller, nothing happens - the more info and next buttons stay grayed...

    WinRoute on DSL with DHCP

    My setup is WinRoute Pro running on server, ISP provides DHCP. Problem is, when I reboot the server, because the DHCP info is downloaded before WinRoute kicks in, I get a lease. If after WinRoute is loaded I try to renew my lease (or my PC tries to renew it - ISP DHCP lease is set to 4 hrs) I...
