I´m doing an integration of my Siemens Hipath 4000 with a VoIP system.
Right now all the E1 connections I have on the Siemens system are connected to the VoIP system using an E1 <-> SIP gateway.
While doing this configuration one of the things we look for is to leave the PIN dialing...
At or Hipath 4000, when an analog extension is flagged with MWI ON, every time the user goes off hook he hears: "A message is available" (in Portuguese).
I´m wondering if anyone knows where did this MWI announcement came from and if we can change the recording somehow?

I´m trying to setup my Hipath 4000 to user Freeswitch as Voicemail server.
To reach the Freeswitch I have a VoIP Gateway connected to the Hipath using an E1 (R2 Signaling) channel.
I´m able to reach the VoiceMail pilot number (36999) (or any other VoIP extension) from any Siemens...
We have a setup where one of the E1s is connected to a SIP<-->E1 Gateway. And other E1s are connected to PSTN.
This allows our SIP clients to send external calls to PSTN as the COT configured for this "gateway" E1 is configured with TIE.
