Hi All,
I have a strange problem. One of the phones at our organization can make some calls to external numbers but not to others. Other phones however can make the same call successfully.
Here are the troubleshooting steps I've taken so far:
1. Used AFRS and set TN: 1, RT: 31, NPC...
We currently have a NEAX 2400 IPX PBX with a NEAXMail AD-64 voicemail system. When someone calls in they are taken to the main opening box and can interact with the auto attendant from there. I would like to add a second menu, but am unsure how to tell the PBX that this auto attendant exists and...
Can someone give me a lay english, common sense definition of Service Feature Class? If I'm understanding correctly, the PBX includes a number of "service features" which one can enable on a route by route basis?
Dave.
I used ARTD to look at the settings for all the various routes and diagram out how they are utilized...but I'm not quite clear how routes correspond to physical trunks? There are many more routes than trunks?
Dave.
I have NEC MAT R21 3.03 on a Win 2003 server and it can connect to the phone system fine. I also have MATWorX 13 on the same server, but when configured with the same IP to connect to and port (60000) the test in the config wizard turns back abnormal. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Dave.
I'm wondering if anyone is aware of some good sites / tutorials / documentation for NEC MAT that are more user friendly? I don't want to get into an argument about the quality of NEC documentation - just looking for anything better. =)
Dave.
Hi All,
It was recently suggested on one of these forums that I upgrade from NEC MAT to PC Pro for management of a NEAX 2400 IPX w/SV7000 processor. I've been informed, however, that the application we have is "PC PRO" even though it isn't named that. The application is installed under IMXMAT...
I'm just wondering...for those who have NEC systems...if you had a choice to move to an open source solution like Asterisk would you? Why or why not?
I'm just noting that the pricing on NEC PBX's is fairly hefty...
Dave.
I've been handed off responsibility for managing our PBX. I believe it was originally an NEC 2400 IPX, then it was upgraded with an SV7000. As I understand it - we still have the cages from the 2400 IPX, but the actual brains are now in the SV7000.
I have a few questions on this matter:
1. Is...
