Hard Drive Problem
Hi! I just received an HP PC that I know used to run Windows ME. The person who gave it to me said the hard drive had a lot of bad sector problems and she tried to wipe it out (the hard drive) and overwrite it with Windows 98 SE. Win98SE Clean Install?
I just bought a refurbished laptop; the hard drive is empty except for the COMMAND.COM file and when I boot, it goes to the command prompt and displays on the top that the system is Windows 95. Right now I don't think it recognizes the CD-ROM drive, but I'm sure with the right boot disk I can...- winzip
