I have a strange one today...... try calling a long distance number ad rather than dial out, it just hangs up /drops the line. No message or anything? What would I need to look at to see what might be going on there? (Opt 81) Thanks in advance....
Well, it appears as though some of my local dialing must now be allowed to use 7 digit dialing? I've had complaints about certain numbers not being reachable that were last week.... so I assume it's because my switch is only allowing 7 digit local dialing? I noticed that I get a re-order as...
Any ideas on what I can start looking at? My switch just started spewing out these..? Unfortunately I don't have any available tech's since the company that used to help us went out of business.....

We lost power a few days back and I'm pretty sure the CallPilot (600R) server lost power but the PBX (OPT 81) did not.
I thought CP was working OK when it booted back up becuase it picks up and you can do the normal things. But people started complaining about MWI light being on and no VM's...
SO I added another analog set to my remote OPT 11, by copying another set from the port next to the one I wanted. It looked like everything went OK and it built the set. When I went down and patched the set over I can't dial out? I get a fast busy as soon as I dial the last digit? Same as I...
Well, the discussion has come up again with a bit more serious dedication to getting it moving. We have an old OPT81 (Release 4 ver 3321) approx. 500 sets, as well as a small Opt 11 at another site with about 120 sets. Luckily no call center to support! I know we have a bunch of network...
This should not be difficult but I'm getting my butt kicked. I have and OPT 81 and old Callpilot. One user I have internal calls will forward to voicemail just fine, but for some reason external calls will only ring and not roll over to VM? The pilot DN for VM is 7000.... what am I missing...
Hi guys,
I have been battling an intermittent problem for quite awhile with phones that seem to die, or act up when booting up..... sometimes I can get them to come up and other times I can't. Sometimes a 3904 will run on a line when a 2616 won't on the same line? It's a pretty long run from...
Just doing a sanity check as I have never turned one off. We have some electrical work that is going to end up having to shut off power to my PBX. Is it really this simple? Or should I do more backups of some kind? I know the last time our call pilot got shutdown accidently it did not want...
OK - I keep getting dragged into things I have no clue about. If anybody is familiar with a Vocerea voice/audio system (like hospitals use) and how they operate (It's basically a mobile VIOP badge/phone). I guess there is a way to also be able to reach those badges/phones from a PBX if you...
OK - very glad I found this thread because I was about to pull my hair out. I spent all day yesterday trying to program up a group call and it absolutely insisted that the DN was not a valid number. I saw this thread and it turns out if I program it from the terminal instead of my dial up...
Must be getting rusty - but I re-patched some old analogs to a new locations and noticed the message light was on. There are no VM boxes built against these sets and I don't see anything pointing to them in CallPilot...? What am I missing....?
I am a bit confused here I have a T1 tie link down between my Opt 81 and the Opt 11. I don't have a test set, but I can throw a hard loop towards the Opt 11 and they say they see it good on their test set. But when I try to bring the span up this is all I get:
OPT 11
DCH 009 : OPER EST...
It would appear that my remote Opt 11 is not saving the changes I make to it. I made a change 2 different times and the next day it was back to where I changed it from. I looked in load 43 and here's what I found:

Here's a weird problem..... suddenly one of our remote locations phones quit ringing. They are a the end of a T1 that hits a channel bank and drops out a few analog phones. The ring generator in the channel bank appears to be trying to ring the phones but yet the sets don't ring? We swapped...
OK - here's an odd one. I have a number built in 3 physical places and 2 key appearances. 2 of the phones are 3904 sets, and the other is a 500 analog. (Key appearances are 3904's) The thing keeps toggling on and off hook on either of the sets. I tried swapping out the phones one at a...
I have a DN built on a second set that they claim they are unable to answer if it's picked up on the secondary set? (If secretary puts it on hold he is unable to pick up the primary line) Not sure I have run into that issue before? They claim it worked before.....not sure what to look at...
So today I got the question about whether it's possible for say a group of 5 DN's to be forwarded to a single DN from any one of the 5 phones? I know you can do group pickups - is it possible to do forwarding in a similar manner? (I think they are all 2616 sets on my Opt 81) Personally I...
OK, I know this is possible, - just not sure how to do it. The security guys want our 7911 keys to ring different than the primary keys on thier 2616 sets. I don't believe I have ever played with that feature and thought I would ask you guys how I could configure that? These would be calls...
