Is there a way to stop the BB from deleting the old calendar items. I've sent it to "forever" and set the sync to 3000 days before and 3000 days after. It still wants to delete 150 calendar items from the device from 2008. Using Outlook on the PC.
I sync my outlook with a Blackberry (formerly with a Treo) and I've recently discovered that it is no longer keeping appointments that are older than two months - which means my entire history of appointments, etc. is gone. Where is that setting and how did it get changed? I want my calendar...
I have one cell with fname mi lname. I need it separated into three cells - one each for first, middle and last. I know there's a way to do it using the text functions, but I've forgotten the specifics since the names are of different lengths.
I have Norton Internet Security 2004 Professional and Outlook 2003. Today the Spam toolbar is gone in Outlook and I didn't change any settings in Norton or Outlook.
How can I get the toolbar back on?
How do I get the outlook.pst to be the active one on the new hard drive - specifically the contacts to be the contacts? When I checked to use Contacts as my email address book, it added a 2nd contacts folder with my folks in it. The first one is still empty and I have to choose the 2nd one each...
Since I ran the recent Office XP SR-3, each time I mark an incoming email as "This is Spam" (NIS 2004), the Outlook Toolbar is locked up. None of the toolbar buttons work (like delete, send/receive, purge) unless I close outlook and re-open it. I can right click on messages and delete them...
Using Outlook 2000, Windows 98.. client had Norton Internet Security installed and now cannot open any attachments sent to her (Word and Excel). I installed the same thing and haven't had a problem. Any idea where to look for what is wrong? Thanks!

I've created nametags with merge that have an Oval autoshape on them which is "behind" the text so that the text shows. Once that AutoShape is behind the text, how can I select it to change its color?
Outlook XP... What happens to my messages when it asks to archive and I say "yes"? When I open the archive, all the matching folders are there, but they are all empty. Their size is indicated as 0 KB when I look at their properties in Options.
Is the archive function just a fake...
I can right-click on C: from the Windows Explorer and get to the properties box, etc. But if I try it from the My Computer window (or the File menu in My Computer) it totally locks the system. Ctrl/Alt/Del does nothing, so turning the power off is the only way out.
Any ideas what I can do to...
Are there any files that can be deleted to make room. With the drive so full, it is running super-slow. What is Win XP Hotfix and do I need it? What about Win XP uninstall?
I'll defrag and clean off files, but documents don't make a whole lot of room anyway. Any suggestions? The drive is...

Outlook 2002 - new error message each time a new message arrives: "Your IMAP server wishes to alert you to the following: The file attaced to 3 (or 1, or 22) is unavailable. The file may be available later."

How can I assign a macro to the toolbar in Excel XP? I did it once, but haven't been able to recreate what I did. Does the same method work in 2000?
Word is easy - it can be dragged to the toolbar from the Customize box, but I'm struggling in Excel.
What happened to the feature that did an autocalc on the status bar with the sum or average, etc., of the selected cells? I use that feature constantly and cannot find it in the new version. Is there any way to get that feature active in XP?
