Customer is experiencing intermittent crackling over SCN.
site A has all 5402 and site B mostly have pots.
System v6.0
However when site A dials out over site B's line there is no crackling.
Sites are linked using 10Meg point to point fibre
I have just replaced a MP10 running 4.09 with an MP10a running 4.75
System has a uni card with 2 x 4SLM & 1 x 2BRI
When system has the MP10a, both 4SLM's have power but no voice but if I put the MP10 back in the SLM are fine.

Has anybody come accross any 1403 handsets that wont upgrade. I have had 2 sites where about 4-5 handset failed to upgrade. Once plugged in they get to 17k and hang. I swapped the phone with another and that upgraded without issues (same port).
