    sequence instead of composite key - whats better

    Does anyone have any information on the pros and cons on using artificial keys instead of large composite keys. I have been told in Oracle there is no performance hit, but I am not a believer without supporting information.

    create DDL from data dictionary tables.

    Does anyone know how to extract the DDL to edit and create the database structures from the data dictionary tables. This seems very basic, but I am new to Oracle and i cannot find a feature that is like Sql Server's script database capability.
