    Backup Exec Pre Command to check tape availability

    Hello, Is there anyone out there that can help me write a .bat file to run as a pre-command to check if a tape is available 1st and if returned 0 then it will run a backup-to-disk job instead. I am not a programmer so any help in this area is much appreciated. Thanks!!!!
