I was thinking about running a dual processor XDMCP server and was wondering if the Dual Processor environment is really worth it. It would be an AMD MP 1800 system. I it boils down to: Does Xfree86 take advantage of SMP? Or is it a question of compiling it from source? If I compile...
I am trying to figure out how to setup a two Linux computers. One will run X on its monitor and the other will actually be doing the processing.
I have read about the LTSP, but I would rather try out the traditional Xclient/server model. I am having trouble finding out how to make this...
This is long but it might clarify:
I was given a VooDoo5 AGP card.
I already had a RedHat 7.1 box with a Diamond Viper 770 AGP(aka RIVA TNT2) card. The box was running on a Cisco Wireless network with an Airo 350 card.

Does one load first or have precedence over another. Are there any advantages to using one instead of the other?
Thanks for any help....

Thanks.
I have a user with Windows ME and a Deskjet 672C. We've installed a Deskjet 660C driver for them instead. Immediately after the printer is installed, the printer autocreates in her Citrix session. After an evening or two, her printer disappears. The problem went away for a couple of weeks...
