ok, this seems like it should be easy and is something I should know:
converting to PMS spot colors- is there a process or function? Or is it just 'select an object then click on PMS swatch that matches'? I hope not the latter, as it is difficult to color-match when one is color blind...

Hello,
We have a pc with Corel12 and Ioline 301 which is hooked up to the ioline cutter. We would like to start using it to cut film for team #'s/names, etc. Ioline says it will import .plt and .dxf files, but when I set something up in Corel (simple test text; converted to curves) and output it...
I have some text on a circular path (on the inside of the path) and need to skew it. We don't have the italic version of it and skewing will be close enough with this one. Problem is that it's fit to the curve; would be a 3-second fix, otherwise. Haven't converted it to curves yet...
Thanks in...
When I 'wake' the PC after screen saver has been on, my palettes (except for the main tools palette) are moved into the middle of the work area. Minor problem, but I'm finally annoyed enough to figure it out and fix it. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hello,
We are trying to get the best 'blackest' black possible for outputting to print on a large-format Roland printer. What are the recommended CMYK values for the best black? The file is currently a CDR file.
thanks!

Am a die-hard AI user, but must gain proficiency in Corel for my job. Am basically familiar with the software; know the basic tools. Is there a better tutorial on getting up to speed than the 'Corel Tutor' found under 'Help'?
thanks!

HELP! Have a layout that was sent to me in Word and I need to get it into AI to prep for output with minimal messing about. It includes text and graphics.
Suggestions?
And, of course, this is work-related, so time is running out...

Hello,
Was recently thinking about .wmf files & how I have only used that format a few times when going from an earlier version of corel to an earlier version of AI. It stopped the issue of letters with knockouts being 'sliced open' into 2 sections.
What is the best use for this file type...
Good morning,
Here's what may be an easy one (hope so!)
Sometimes when I use the gaussian blur, there are 'edges' where the blur just stops. Why? How can this be avoided? Are there related problems I may not have hit yet that I can avoid?
Thanks!
...what's the point?
I am a self-taught AI user, and have never really seen the point of the free transform tool, when the same transformations may be effected using the regular selection arrow.
Is there some feature I'm not seeing?
Thanks!
