I can't get Aloha 6.5 running on versions of Windows 10 past version 1703. It seems 6.5 requires haspnt.sys to be in Windows\system32\drivers and upgrading to newer versions of Windows 10 fails if that file is there. Deleting haspnt.sys allows the Windows upgrade to work but then Aloha doesn't...
Anyone know if it's possible to get Aloha 6.5 running on Windows 10 with a parallel HASP? Have tried several different versions of Sentinel driver and no luck getting Aloha to see the key. Iberhaspinfo.txt shows it reading the key but Debout says no security key found
Thanks

I recently installed a new terminal running Windows POS Ready 7. Since then there has been a problem with OLK files getting stuck in the data folder causing problems with the servers being able to access tables. Any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it? The server is running Windows 7...
I have a store that the date of business is wrong on terminals and server. DOB shows 8/4/14, the correct date should be 8/7/14. Is there a way to change the date without it doing and end of day and keeping the trans.log intact with sales etc. for the correct date?
Getting a weird issue at one of our locations. Opening Aloha Manager on BOH displays error Ctlsvr could not be started Check to see that it is registered. Ctlsvr is actually running and FOH is running properly. Any ideas?
Thanks
One of our sites is having EOD problems. The dated subdirectory is being created but does not show in reports until I copy done30 and gnddbf30 from another dated sub and manually mark to regrind. The trans.log is also not being deleted from the Data folder. Any thoughts on what is causing this...
One of our managers told me that every once in a while a credit card receipt prints in French instead of English. Has anyone ever seen this? If so, is there a way to fix it? Recently upgraded to Aloha 6.5.39
We have been having a problem at one of our stores the past couple of months with the terminals freezing occasionally. Seems to always be an error about Failed to open Z:. Restarting server fixes the problem for a while. I suspected a network issue so I replaced the network swicth and switched...

I upgraded one of my sites from Aloha 6.2.16 to 6.4.29. Server is Windows 7 Pro 32-bit. Everything seemed to go fine on the back of house but the terminals would not come up. They kept saying "Exiting- data file error" and rebooting. Tried deleting the Aloha folder on the terminals and...
I am trying to upgrade Aloha 6.2.16 to 6.4.29 on a Windows 7 PC. I ran AlohaInstall from the CD and went through the install process. The installer saw that Aloha data was there but seems to have replaced it anyway. Any ideas? Am I even going through the right process to updgrade?
We had a Micros server go down for sevral hours in one of our stores. We got it back up by swapping memory. This happened during a busy time of day and it was a disaster with no backup. I did some research and found an option to enable standalone on the workstations. I selected the option for...
