Hi fellows!
Is there an easy way to establish a VPN connection via the Cisco 831 from a NT5(.1) box w/o using or installing the Cisco VPN client?
Or would it be possible to use the "SoftRemote LT" VPN client? (Cisco's VPN complains about it)
Any hints / links welcome
Hi fellas!
I'm in a "happy" nifty company merger. Due to several parameters I can't change our mergerteam developped a plan and I'd like to have some feedback from you. All NOS will become W2k and AD.
I assume that AD-integrated DNS will work with several DNS-Servers. Is there any...
Hi out there!
I had to reinstall an E2k Server. (It was the one having the same NetBIOS domain name as the NT4 network. No it wasn't updated - just put into service ... someonemight remember).
We did an update of the NT4 PDC after downing E2k und removing AD from it (e2k + DC).

Tried all patches up...

(no real names here).
I informed the admin there...

One is on powersave the other not. But both have problems staying connected to the server.
I find lotta NOT-LOGGED-IN in Monitor...
Howdy fellas!
This is not strictly W2k Server but I think it fits best here.
During a visit at a customer (Problem with Exchange to Linux ISP mail) I found two PDCs running.
Another "SE" had set up an E2k server offsite (complete with DNS, AD) and choose the same domain name...
Hi!
Recently I was at an installation where the server (NW5, SP3a) abends and recovers because there is a problem with a non existing NSS volume. The abend happens only once.
I asked and found out:
The Admin wanted to get rid of NSS (no space restrictions there) and replaced the NSS...
