Can someone adivse where to look to confirm/configure communication settings between the handset & controller, i.e., 10/100, half/full duplex.
Thank you!
Random calls are dropping off, the user indicates their display show "Timeout", and the calls drop after 30sec up to 2 minutes. I've replaced the PRI and reloaded the IMAT DB. ISDN protocols / variants are checked ok. Has anyone see this before? What is the "Timeout" message referring to...
To minimize (or even eliminate) the number of "hang-ups" when users inadvertently dial 911, can a delay be inserted in the route table that pauses 2 or 3 seconds before placing the call on the public network? The thinking is that this delay will give "accidental" 911 dialers the opportunity to...
Generally speaking, how much time is involved for the following tasks on a non-redundant SX-2000:
1) Update the operating system
2) Activate feature dimension
I'm trying to determine the amount of down-time the users should expect.
Thanks!
Calls with CLID show-up when traversing the network fine, but if CLID is blocked (or unavailable) the display shows either the trunk-port (not the trunk label) or the cluster element info. Is all display info controlled via COS for the station, or is COS for trunk involved too? Any quick rules...
I'm connecting 3 each 2k systems via msdn, clustered, everything is fine. We've placed a pair of 3300LXs between two of the 2ks, msdn into the 3300s and IP (xnet) between the 3300s. When I busy the main route (P2P msdn) to force traffic over the 3300s, the calling party sees "invalid digits"...
Can anyone elaborate on exactly what "indeterminate" indicates when doing a "st 2 1 3" (or similar) command?
Also, is there a preferred setting for the link descriptor assignments for CEPT trunks (elements physically next to each other, coax connected) with respect to B8ZS suppression (yes/no)...
Is there a way to obtain very basic trunk traffic info (peak busy, hourly peg counts, etc.) without investing in 3rd party applications? This is not for long-term useage, rather to gauge if we need more circuits on some point-to-points? Thanks!
I have an SX2000 that has a P2P DS1 that fails almost every morning at switchover time(redundant planes). The PRI in the same cabinet is 100% stable. To clear, sometime I reload the card, sometimes I reset the CSU, other times both. There are two circuits on the same card, the failure is...
Can anyone validate the following?
DS1 Formatter
p/n MC263xx
Supports only AMI/D4 SF, requires a CSU
PRI
p/n MC270xx
Supports ESF B8ZS, integrated CSU
What is the "Universal Formatter"?
Is this an 'enhanced' DS1 that does support ESF and B8ZS?
Thanks in advance!
I have a P2P T1 between 2 locations, Mitel SX2000 for the A-end, SX200 is Z-end. Using channels 19-24 for digital E&M. When circuit is up direct from CSU to PBX, all is well. When Cisco 1841s are placed at both ends, the voice circuits lock-up after a few minutes (data flow is fine).
Clock...
Adding a satellite SX200 to a host SX2000. Voice mail and DIDs are connected to 2000. Only 8 - 10 users on the 200-end.
Question: can a reasonable level of 'integration' providing the SX200 users with DID numbers and voicemail be accomplished with a creative use of call-rerouting, system speed...
Anyone have experience with the MAP product? It appears to be a PPP server w/chap authentication to allow port 80 and telnet/ftp) access to the systems via dial-up. Questions:
1) Does this allow full access to a 2K/3300 via IP without connection to corporate LAN/WAN?
2) Will EM be able to...
911 calls (or *any* N11 calls for that matter) are not exiting the system. If the user appends 7 more digits the calls then progress. Site is in an NPA overlay region; 10-digit for all calls local/ld. Appending the call with "#" is of no avail. Ideas? Thanks!
Any thoughts/comments/suggestions regarding performance of the 3300 http admin? Some of our sites respond well, others take several minutes to paint the screen, load the form, etc. All sites are connected via same size pipe, but have been installed from different vendors (all over US).\
Thanks...
