I have an Epox 8K7A+ mobo and 2 IBM 40G Hd....Now my question is....do i connect the two harddrives in different channel both as master on the raid channels? and if I do can I connect cdrom on the regular primary channels without compromising performance?

When building a computer and installing the hard drives for a Raid 0 setup.....are they both supposed to be set as master or one master and the other slave on the primary channel???
