AIX Install CD Contents
When you install filesets through smit with AIX cd's mounted you can't tell from CD1 whats on the other CD's. Right? When you smit install without the CD being mounted (ie using /dev/cd0) it somehow can tell what filesets are on the other CD's. Any idea how it does this (what file its using to...- markiemark

Maintenance levels?
Just a quick question about AIX maintenance levels. We have just installed ML8 on a machine that previously had ML6 installed. The machine is now showing that not all filesets from ML7 have been installed, but as far as I was concerned ML8 should have updated everything for previous levels...- markiemark
