    Extensions starting with 0

    I am asking this on behalf of an NEC administrator, so bear with me. Is the a way to have extensions starting with with 0 (ex: 01058) and an attendant/operator on an NEC2400 IPX system? With Avaya and other systems this is possible by using a feature called inter-digit timeout. Thanks.

    NEC 2400 to Octel 350

    I am trying to figure out how to connect a NEC 2400 to an Octel 350 using T1 TIC's. What card do I need on the NEC side to connect to the TIC's? On the NEC, do I assign the T1 ports the station? Avaya's config notes are extremely vague.

    When a user enters an invalid mailbox number, the system prompts for a password three times and then drops. Is there someway to give a prompt that the caller has entered an invalid mailbox?
