How to be sure that text printed from pdf is not rasterized?
E.g. I give my work to some rural printing company, without CTP, but paus papers and films, and so on. I make pdf directly from Indesign, and if there is no colour pictures in the document, I set Output/Colour/ to COMPOSITE GREY, and no text as black checked. Is that enough if all text is set...- vlais

100 tif pictures embeded in indd (390MB) same as 8 MB printed to pdf?
100 tiff pictures embeded in .indd (390MB) same as 8 MB printed to pdf? I have 100 tiff pictures, color and greyscale, embeded in one file. File have 437 MB, but, when printing to pdf is finished, odf have only 8 MB!!! How can it be posiible? I don't use compression,(as I know) when set pdf...- vlais

Lock the content of a text frame, so it can't move up or down?
I've realy search FAQs and forums and can't find answer, or solution, as you wish. Problem is: When I make changes somewhere in text frame on some page, content of pages after that page is moving, up or down; typed text, whole rows jumps to other page. I know that unlink page can preserve...- vlais
