I need to be able to list all disabled digital stations in my locations. The users have a habit of not bothering us telecom people when people leave, or construction closes a bunch of offices, etc... so we have stations still programmed that do not have anything connected to them. The site I'm...
I administer a few dozen S8300 systems remotely. Most are R6.x; a few are r5.x. We use 9608 phones.
Is it possible to assign a station to a particular phone by using the MAC address, like you can on a Cisco CM? Or is the only way to have someone physically at the set to press log in?
Just had an odd trouble ticket show up. Woman in one of our remote offices (S8300 / G700, no VM, 3.1 software) call and ask to have calls that are forwarded to her cell show the OFFICE CLID rather than her callers.
When I talked to her, she tells me that all her coworkers get the office CLID...
Got a G700 / S8300 with IA770 Audix. I'm trying to set up a feature that I only know from my Nortel days as a "Directory Entry".
Jane Smith at ext 318 wants her calls to go to her cell phone if she's not there. So I've got EC500 set up on x318 for her cell phone, plus her coverage path goes to...
I have about 10 field offices with G350s and G700s with the IA770 Audix installed. Many of the agents I support spend most of their days in the field and would prefer that their calls be answered by their cell phone voice mail rather than the Audix. Currently, I set them up with EC500 and a...
Got a customer who wants to mute the handset for conference calls since she can't use the speakerphone mode (she works in a cube farm).
Can this be done? If so, how would I program it?
I have an MICS with XC 3.0 software. I've got a NAM attached to it.
One of my users has FWD No Answer set to 5176 (the VM DN), fwd no answer delay 4, and fwd on busy set to DN5176. Only problem is that when he gets a second call, the caller gets a busy signal, not VM.
What am I missing?
I have a Modular Messaging r3. I've noticed that when our users put in an optional greeting or an extended greeting, callers are forced to listen to the entire message before they can hit 0 to get the backup operator.
Is there any way that we can set this up so that callers can interrupt the...
We have a group of lawyers with about 10 admins. We can't use a call answer group (and a coverage path) because of the 8 station limitation, so we're looking at just putting all the lawyers' extensions on the admins' phones. My question is "is there a limit to the number of stations that we can...
I have a MM 3.0 box that is giving me the following error: "Error: PBX extension matches a subscriber's secondary extension (1524)" when I try to build a mailbox for extension 8324. 8324 is a bridged appearance on four other phones on the G3r.
Do I have to remove these bridged appearances...
Title says it all - I'm supporting Norstar's that I didn't set up and need to see what the programming is before I change it. Oh, and the kicker is that I'm doing this remotely - so going to site and putting a printer on the KSU isn't really an option.
I have a NAM with rls 4 software; I had to reset the admin password to the default today (the password seems to have gotten corrupted). I want to change the password to something a little more secure than the default, but I can't seem to find the procedure anywhere.
Can anyone help me out here?
Title says it all: Call Pilot 150 located 1500 miles away. I need to initialize and record 3 information mailboxes remotely. I do not have internet access into the system but I do have a FastRAD on there so I can dial in.
I know that this isn't a script question, but maybe someone can help me out anyway.
I'm trying to use Procomm Plus 4.8, running under WinXP Pro, to send a fax. I keep getting a "Error generating cover sheet" popping up when trying to use the Send Fax tool. It pops up a message box saying...
I need to count the sets on all my remote locations. I have R1 T1 software, MICS R4.1 and MICS with R6.1.
Is there anything comparable to the Meridian 1 CNT SETS feature in LD 81? Even a set a count without knowing what the different sets are would help. I'm trying to avoid having to go in to...
Hi, all.
We have a Modular Messaging 3.0 system on a Definity G3r (as well as a Nortel Opt 81C with Meridian Mail 13). We're migrating folks off of the Nortel and onto the Avaya platform, and many of the users who had Meridian Mail are complaining that there's no equivalent to Express...
I have a group at work who wants to record calls off of a mixed batch of Callmaster IV's and V's. The 4 is no problem, but the Callmaster 5 is. The recording interface that we want to use splits off the analog going to the handset and sends it to the microphone port of a PC.
Is there anyone...
I have an 0x32, "ver 3.0 / T1" software, 8 port fiber NAM, with DID numbers coming into it. The system is in CA; I'm in MA, and the tech in MI tells me that when it was installed the tech told him that it could handle only ONE call at a time into the automated attendant (which is using CCR...
I've got several PBX's to support in several different time zones. If I see that the time is off, I have a script to adjust it based on my PC's time (which is set by the atomic clocks). However... if I'm dialed into a PBX in another time zone, I want my script to see what connection in the...
