I've been happily designing my site in FF and also checking in IE 6 and all has been fine with my 3 level suckerfish menu. Then I jumped on someone's computer to view it in IE 7, and of course there are the usual compatibility issues!

Hi,
A basic question, perhaps:
I'm always on the move and don't have an outgoing mail server for Thunderbird to log in to, so I can't send email (I can receive ok).
I'm running XP Pro so am I able to set my laptop up so that it acts as its own SMTP server? What would be the best way to do...
Tried asking this in CSS forum but this is a server-side issue, I'm led to believe...
I'd like to allow the site visitor to select their own background color or image. How do I go about doing this? Can I do this with ASP or is this a JScript thing?
Thanks in advance....
Hello,
I'm building a website using .asp pages, only because I know a very small amount of ASP and have used a few simple commands to my benefit.

I've left the border on the container layer for the menu.
Any clues?
.menu...

I'm just starting to get my head around the suckerfish menu and I'm aiming for a multi-level solution. So far I have managed to get it to work effectively in FF but not IE. The problem is that the third and fourth levels are displaying without the rollover.
Here is an example of what I have...
This sort of relates to my previous post but it has some changes. Basically my site is all layers. I have a main layer 100% wide to contain everything; a centralised wrapper layer that's 768px wide to contain the menu and the content (which have their own layers); and a layer that sits to the...
Hi
I'm discovering the term 'elastic' but haven't got my head around em yet. I'm still in px mode!
I'm designing a template for a site that has a small column on the left (100px perhaps?) that displays a logo only when seen in larger screen res than 800x600, but want the main content screen to...
