    Cisco 1720 gibberish

    Hi Everyone, I have a cisco 1720 which gives a gibberish output on the Hyperterminal.It won't go into rommon mode for a new IOS install.The OK LED blinks endlessly,looks like the POST fails.Does that mean the CPU is gone?. Anyone came across this before. Any help will be highly appreciated...
