    Black screen of death

    Working on a friends computer, intermitant video loss to colored stripes now no video at all. It had on-board video card, so I tried hooking in a pci video card that works on other pc's. No picture, boot process can be heard in hard drive and cd-rom, no beeps, no sound of op sys booting...
