    explorer.exe and avi files

    Each time I try to move, cut, copy or even highlight an avi file, explorer.exe comes up with an error message, and has to shut down then restart. Any ideas how to fix this annoyance?

    floppy drive searches for disk

    Ever since I finished building my computer, it occasionally (especially when its been on for awhile) "seaches" for a floppy disk. There's no on screen prompt, just the annoying buzz from the a drive. Is there something in BIOS I need to change? Thanks!

    Windows NT freezes after login

    I have a HP Vectra Vli8 with a Pentiumn III running Windows 98/NT. As soon as I log in, the system freezes up--can't control-alt-delete or even hit the front botton. Have to turn it off at the surge protector. Any suggections would be helpful! Thanks!
