Fixing a bad drive (non-mechanical or data)
hello, I have a seagate 160gb drive (ST3160827AS) which was in an external usb case. All of the sudden, when i plug it into the usb bus it recogizes the drive, then reboots the PC(BSoD). I took the drive out and plugged it into the ide bus directly and same thing, other computers, same thing...- ClassicNoob
