possible to configure 2621 as router on a stick connected to a 3550?
Heres my situation.... I have a 2621 with a nm-4e and a 3550 48 emi. I have a dsl connection and a cable connection each connected to an ethernet port on the nm-4e. I would like to create 2 lans (one for each connection) using only one fast ethernet port from the 2621 to the switch. Please let... -

3550 takes long to aquire address on xp
I found the fix for this in this forum before but cant find it now. The problem- there is a long wait time (about one minute) to establish an ip address when I enable any nic connected to the 3550. Please help again! thanks everyone. -

Would like to know the difference between 1. 3550 48 smi with emi image. 2. 3550 48 emi Is one better than the other? Someone please explain the difference. Is the "with emi image" part just a firmware upgrade similar to an updated ios? -
