T1 Cable Extension Distance?
Hello All, I have to extend a T1 Circuit from the demarc room, out to an IDF wiring closet, approx. 400 feet away. I am thinking of using T1 Cable, 22 AWG, 2 pair shielded for the cable run, and terminating it in the IDF on a RJ48X jACK. any comments would be appreciated. Thanks -
Shielded Cat 5e Patch Cord RJ 45 Plugs?
Hello All, Is the "Shielded" Cat 5e Patch Cable Plug the same foot print or size as the Cat 5e UTP Plug, I have been told the are have a larger footprint and may not plug into the base of an Avaya VOIP Phone set? Thanks for any info. -
T1 CKT. TESTING
Hello All: First time on Board!! With ?. After your local telcom co. installs a T1 CKT. and I extend it from the Demarc to a point where it is needed, but the end equipment has not been installed yet is there any way to test the ckt. to verify it is good ?. Thanks
