How do you find what process is causing the greatest load on SunOS 5.8
I have an unusally high load on a SunOS 5.8 system. It is running and ORACLE 5.1.5 database. What is the best way to determine what is causing this? Also does any one know what the process "fsflush" is? Thanks- wanabeadmin

reboot hangs after starting rpc services ...
I have over improved the DNS service and now the reboot hangs after: "starting rpc services: rpcbind keyserv rpc.nisd ypbind done." Is there a way to force a single user state boot from a powered down box. The default is state 3. Sun OS 5.8 - sparc - sun4u- wanabeadmin
