Hi,
I have a GUI running on a diskless Linux machine that boots off of another. The GUI has a button that a user can press to shutdown the entire system. In other words, I need to issue a halt command to the box with the disk across the network.
Any ideas on how to do this?

My project is currently using 3600 series powerPC boards. They have been end of lifed and we are trying to find a replacement. However, Motorola no longer includes a graphics card with its boards. We use AIX 4.1.5r2.
Does anyone know of a 3rd party vendor that makes AIX supported graphics...

I see the wierd DOS names although it was not configured this way. Example:
