help windows 2000 server domain controller down
the server is windows 2000 server and its a compaq proliant ml330. when booted it comes to the windows screeen and hangs, same in safe mode also. i can boot of the cd and get to the recovery console. i run chkdsk/p and all is fine, but if i run chkdsk /r it freezes at 55% any ideas what else...- punda

Windows 2000 server wont boot
i have a windows 200o server unit (compaq ML 330 with an integrated IDE Raid controller). when started up would boot to the blue windows 2000 server screen and stay on that screen and would not move forward, but the unit would not freeze the keyboard (numlock ) would still respond. anyway i...- punda
