    Losing dialup email details from outlook express

    I have a Win98 PC, network card, modem, using Outlook Express to receive e-mail. If the dial-up fails (line engaged) my Outlook Express account connection details are disrupted - smtp is set to 127.0.0.1 (localhost/loopback) and the login is appended with the smtp address. Whats happening here...
