    Can't install any software on a windows 2000 server

    Hi, I have a problem with one of my windows 200 server, when i try to install any kind of software it hangs at the windows installer box and nothing. I have checked the size of the c: drive (its has approx 500 mb free) can someone help i need to install .net framwork on this server thanks

    I have lost my froest in the GPM and when i try to re-add it it say: network address invalid, i can work fine in AD all the DNS servers are configured. I need the GPM to run some reports on existing GPO's

    Cannot edit a group policy in Group Management snap-in

    I am using XP platform and trying to edit a group policy but keep getting the error: failed to open the group policy object. You may not have appropriate rights. It works fine on my other PC using the Group Policy Management snap-in. thanks
