    that's just a "boot disk". i don't think it has any proprietary information about windows. you can find a 98 cd anywhere. i have been able to install upgrade as a full version, even though i had 98se, but i can't discuss it here. it's doable.

    i have this same scenario on my network, and it works ok. it maps the drives every time client pc's logon.

    i should be a little clearer: ritht click on "my computer" (not mine, yours) lol select "map network drive" enter the drive you want to map check the box "reconnect at logon"
