Skillet effect on calls in queue

Found the setting - its in Contact Center Queues. There's a setting for Resource Selection Criteria - Most Skilled as opposed to Longest Available. After making the change, the agent with the lower priority was available longer. but the 2 agents with the higher priority received the calls when...

Skillet effect on calls in queue

I didn't see a Cisco UCCX forum - if this is not the correct forum please (an admin) move it accordingly. Can a skillset with the lowest priority (1) be used to prohibit a Ready agent from getting call when others with a high priority are Ready? I've been searching to find the definition of how...

    ISDN Phone

Yes - the AT&T 5ESS also had a 'U' option, 1 pair from the LEN, converted to 2 pairs on premise via an NT1 card. Not sure what kind of presence Siemens PBXs (TDM or VoIP) have these days in the U.S. When I was with Siemens (formerly Rolm) they were based in Texas. I heard tech support (TAC) is...

    ISDN Phone

I wonder how many pars does this ISDN phone use? Looking t the line cord, appear to be more than one pair. The old AT&T ISDN sets used 3 pair, the 3rd for power. I think the original Siemens 3000 (or Hipath) was designed to accept ISDN trunks by default - but as @RioGrande75 said about ISDN...

    ISDN Phone

When I saw the title of this post I thought it referred to legacy AT&T ISDN multi-line phones, using 2B+D. I'll still occasionally get a request to multipoint one with an existing phone on the LEN. Those require a SPID. Siemens does have an ISDN station option or card? I wonder what kind of...

I didn't know in which forum this should question should be posted. Is there a way to allow and old topic of mine to accept replies again? It says - Not open for further replies.

    Busy Lamp Field for Jabber

Is there a basic BLF for Jabber, or a standalone desktop app? Ideally, to simply display extension numbers with a corresponding 'light' to indicate status.

Resume call on hold from an ATA line

If a call is placed on hold from a VoiP phone, can an ATA with the same line resume the call? Researching Cisco and other documentation, I believe the only way would be to Park the call from the VoIP phone. To resume the call, the Call Park code would then be entered from the ATA line. I tried...

    Remote Support

I didn't realize pbxinfo.com was no longer around. I think you're referring to another good forum I'm a member of, your name sounds familiar. What's cool about that one - it still has a 1A2 forum! To the OP I'd recommend a LinkedIn, Indeed, and/or other job site profiles if you don't have one...

Cisco IP Phone 7841 8851 unable to forward to external number

Entering '0' before 11 digits? I use 10 digits and can forward externally, or have the ring no answer forward externally.

Requiring a PIN to 'unlock' phone

My customer wants to be able to 'lock' his phone. He said previously when going off hook, he'd need a PIN for the call to proceed. He had forgotten his pin, and said it was reset (it would be by our dept. but I can't find a related work order) so he could use the phone. It sounds from his...

    Blinking digital phones

It sort of sounds like the pair is also bridged elsewhere, like to another jack. But if you changed pairs and simultaneously ruled that out there's some other reason.

    System error

Great the system reloaded from the HD. From what I recall about the 9006 that looks good. I wonder what caused the situation in the first place? Next would be a backup to the MO drive?

    System error

I remember those days - more than once where the processor would flash 3 bars, then keep repeating the process. I had times where the RMX backup wouldn't load from the DAT, and had to run the cleaning tape through a few times. At least this system has a MO, that must be much more reliable and...

    System error

The symptom with the time and date not set I thought was bars on the displays of Optisets. Glad someone with knowledge of the system came in. Sorry about the wrong AMOs. I recall years ago I had several Mod 30 9006s where the hard drives started getting quite noisy. Suspecting the worse - I took...

    System error

It's been many years since I've worked on a Siemens system but I've experienced that on a 9006 system when the hard drive was bad or 'In defect'. There's a way to effectively reset the status and put it back in service as long as there's not a hardware error, It was CHA-DSSU... I think followed...

    x8 E&M setting

Why does the diagram show voltage? The 2 pairs should be transmit and receive. I think it's the BCSU command in the 9006 that set the options (wink, immediate, etc.) Might be CHA-BCSU, TMD (TBL would be the card type). Sorry I can just go by memory, I don't have much trunk documentation.

    x8 E&M setting

Not familiar with the 2x8 system - but if I recall correctly, the 9006 (which the card looks like it's for) has all the T1 E&M options, such as Wink, Immediate, Delay, etc. You could just flip the transmit/receive pair between the 2 systems, and set one to supply clocking, other to clock off of...

Openscape X5 external paging with Bogen PCM2000

You're welcome. So you can hear the DTMF 00, then audio when you speak? If you're hearing the 2 tones, maybe they're too short for the Bogen to recognize. I don't know if there's a setting in the Openscape system to adjust for the length of the tone, or what do do if you're not hearing them at...
