    OK have tested it. Made a rule 1 to RMD "CF2". Did a change and an EDD. Made a RSR 1, and a sysload, and it took the backup from the CF2, and the change is gone.     Hi bhassell2000 We do also have a backup on the CF2 card, but in case of water etc. in the switch room, we have to be able to do a restore. Normally I would also use the single backup on the CF2. Or do you mean that you copy the bkdata file to the cf2 card in this case?

    Hi Latvia1 We have had exactly the same problem. Avaya worked on it, and the solution is a new FPGA loadware AA19 for the XPEC cards. Avaya can look in this case 101031-25132 in the old Nortel cases. So ask Avaya for this loadware, and it works /DKL22

    Hi ASpark We have a customer with this problem, same release. In our case it's related to CDR/CTY on the MGC card. Avaya has been working for this problem a lot, but has not been able to fix it yet. I have just asked Avaya about this bulletin, and asked for the patch for rls. 5.50.

    MGC failed to register CPPM CS

    It is your mgcdb.xml in the pdt, that is wrong. Rename the mgcdb.xml to ex. oldmgcdb.xml, and then change the mgc via mgcsetup. Dont you have a sig server, this is the one who makes these files?
