    Well thanks for the suggestions. It's v.9. It does not have an "online" option when you right-click it. And device configuration didn't really seem to help any. Others? Thanks!

    Hi. A CLIENT OF MINE USES ARCESERV AS BACKUP. I can't get it to set up a backup job because the tape device shows it is offline. I've looked everywhere in the users guide and poked around alot to find a way to get the device back online. Can anyone help PLEASE! Thanks sooo much!!
