So, what is the deal with Oracle 9i client install? Does it install multiple directories with multiple tnsnames for resolution? That doesn't sound right. Also-what about this ODBC Instant client - is that a separate install?- MauraDae

I am running into the same error. Connecting from sql server 800.760(SP3) on Windows NT - 5.0(2195). Same set up as my other server which is working correctly.
