    Memo field text retrieval

    If my memory is correct, MEMO fields are just that, a BIG field (64,000+) that stores information that can not be searched, sorted, used in a query etc. If you need to do any of the above, the field must be a TEXT field and that is limited to 255 characters. Hope this helps, Richard in Tulsa
