Partner Mail VS R4.0 power supply question

It has a comcode 847180783 expansion card. However, I dialed the extensions and found that 20 & 21 do not answer. 22 & 23 work just fine. As a quick-fix, I unassigned 20 & 21. This would suggest a problem with the expansion card, yes? I'll check to be sure it's fully seated, etc. since I did...

Partner Mail VS R4.0 power supply question

I stepped through all the extensions until it wrapped around to ext 10 again and those 4 were the only ones assigned... There was a large gap in the ext numbers as I scrolled through- it jumped from 49 to 78, 79 then back to 10.

Partner Mail VS R4.0 power supply question

I double-checked and the only extensions assigned to hunt group 7 are 20, 21, 22 & 23. These are the ones my manual specifies for a 4-port VM card in slot 1. Does this sound right?

Partner Mail VS R4.0 power supply question

Although it's working, the VM has been somewhat random- about half the time it answers a ringing line after 4 rings, as it's programmed to do. The rest of the time it may go (approximately) 7 rings or 12 rings or maybe never! Same thing with VM access- usually answers in 1/3 of a ring or less...

Partner Mail VS R4.0 power supply question

Moved VM to slot 1, assigned ports 20-23 to hunt group 7 and it's working again! It NEVER would have occurred to me to move the VM to a different slot simply because it has been working in slot 3 for the last 4 years. I can't thank you enough for your help!!

Partner Mail VS R4.0 power supply question

No other cards- only the processor and VM. Any idea what could be going on?

Partner Mail VS R4.0 power supply question

The VM card is in slot 3 (5-slot carrier), immediately to the right of the processor. Ports 32-35 are assigned to hunt group 7.

Partner Mail VS R4.0 power supply question

Well, it seems nothing is ever easy. I installed a replacement VM unit and it behaves exactly the same as the original- starts to run, then lights-out. Is it possible the 308 processor is somehow preventing the VM card from running? Are there any VM settings that don't get saved during a...

Partner Mail VS R4.0 power supply question

I have a new power supply board for the 308 processor, and thought I'd try that first if it's the same as the one used in the VM module???

Partner Mail VS R4.0 power supply question

Voice mail was working fine until I shut the system down to repair a corroded battery contact on the 308ACS. When powered up the next day, the 308 works just fine, but the VM Power, Test and HDD LEDs came on, the drive started to spin up then after about 3 seconds, all the LEDs went out. This...
